Chain Reaction took place at the Room by the River, 99 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PU.
Situated on London’s Southbank, and within easy reach of central London and mainline rail stations, The Room by the River is a temporary structure and an award winning, and exclusive venue.
‘The Room’ recognises the need to improve environmental impact in the events industry, and so operates a full environmental policy, which includes recycling all bottles, plastics and operating a full paper recycle policy; operating a low carbon emission catering policy, designing seasonal menus using mainly local and British produce, as well as donating the carpet used at ‘The Room’ to Crisis at Christmas for their shelters, along with the linings of the marquee.
Full details of the Room by the River’s environmental responsibility can be found here
The Room by the River is fully accessible for wheelchair users, and can also cater for special diets, although advance notice is required. Please do if you do have any questions about access or dietary requirements.
The Room by the River is situated on London’s Southbank. Using public transport to get to the venue is strongly recommended - overland train services run into Waterloo and Charing Cross, and the nearest tube stations are Waterloo for the Jubliee, Bakerloo and Northern Lines, and Southwark for the Jubilee line. There are also several bus routes to the Southbank. We advise participants to plan their journey in advance, using Transport for London’s route planner. Or, why not walk it?
